Questions

  1. If you could change one thing you did recently, what would it be? (Or would you change anything at all?)

I’m not sure if I would change anything. Other than little things (not packing a warmer pair of pyjamas, buying a second container of pink beads because I forgot I’d already bought some) I haven’t really done anything I regret recently. Honestly there’s not much I regret at all, recently or not.

  2. What is your favourite line or lyric from any song and why?

I have a LOT of favourite lyrics. I can’t choose just one. The song Goodbye Grace, by Spirit of the West, has absolutely beautiful lyrics though. They don’t seem that great when you first hear them, I thought he was breaking up with his girlfriend or something, but then my dad told me what the song was about, and I realized what a beautiful song it was.
Apparently the singer’s son was in the hospital a lot, and the hospital was called the Grace Hospital, so he’s singing about how he doesn’t want to see the hospital again, because he wants his son to get better, and the lyrics are  so, so beautiful.

  3. What is one thing that you are happy about right now?

Right now I’m really, really excited, because my friend from the United States (I live in Canada) is coming to visit me in less then ten days! And she’s going to stay for TWO WEEKS!!!!!!!!! And I’m really, really, really, really, REALLY excited!!!* Because the longest we’ve had together is one week, so two is wonderful!!! And also she’s never came to my house before. I. Am. So. Excited!!!
And I’ll stop now, or else I’ll talk about this for hours.

    *And honestly that’s an understatement!
  4. Favourite character from your least favourite book?

I don’t really have a least favourite book. If I don’t like a book I either don’t finish it or I try and forget it exists. Or both.
Actually never mind, I just remembered one. Mrs. Mike by Benedict & Nancy Freedman. It was awful. It was the most depressing book I’ve ever read. ALL the characters I even sort of liked died. ALL of them, I’m not even exaggerating. Also I was SO bored. It was historical fiction,* and I’ve read so much historical fiction that this wasn’t even interesting. I do still like the occasional historical fiction, just not this one.
I don’t really remember any of the characters names… I liked one girl, I think they called her Oh Be Joyful, or Oh Be Happy, or something like that. I also liked reading about the main characters kids, they were super cute. I don’t really remember anyone else, as I’m trying forget that this book exists.

*does it even count as historical fiction if it was written in the 1940’s and took place in the 1910’s?
  5. What country are you in right now and if you could instantly be teleported anywhere, where would it be and why?

I’m currently in Canada. I’m not sure where I would want to be teleported to, it would depend, would I be able to teleport back?* If I could, I would probably go to the Harry Potter section of Universal Studios in Florida, or one of the Harry Potter themed things in England. If I couldn’t teleport back, I would either go to see my friend who I mentioned earlier,** or just go down the block or something.

*I’m very literal about things like this.
** They could bring me with them when they came to my house.

Three Things About Me

This is far more difficult than it should be…

  1. I’m mildly* obsessed with seed beads which are a type of bead (obviously), and very small. I can’t describe them very well.
    Seed Beads
  2. I’m an incredibly picky eater. I’m trying to be less picky. I’m failing.
  3. I’m a very slow typer. It takes me ages to write anything. Also I think I’m incapable of highlighting** anything, it takes me five or ten tries if I’m lucky. More if I’m not…
    *Okay, fine. Extremely obsessed.
**Is that even what you call it? When you make the text on you’re computer blue to copy it or whatever?

Nominate

I’m supposed to nominate ten or twenty people, but thats not happening. I’m new to blogging, so there’s only four or five blogs that I follow (and they’re all the blogs I can think of off the top of my head). One of them tagged me, and one of the other was tagged by the person who tagged me. So, I’m just going to nominate the two or three blogs that that leaves me with. Or I could nominate all my family members…

Anyways the blogs I’m nominating are:

Lemon Notes

Forever and Everly

My Bookish Life

That’s literally all I have…

My Questions

  1. What is something you are passionate about?
  2. What is you’re favourite food?
  3. What’s something you’ve always wanted to do, but have never done?
  4. Where’s you’re favourite place to travel?
  5. What is your favourite book? (So creative I know. It’s the best thing I could think of)

Links

So, I’m supposed to share links to my best blog posts… I have seven blog posts, and none of them are all that  great, but I’ll put in a couple of my favourites.

Song of the Lioness Red Queen Sandry's Book

These are my two most recent posts, because they’re by far my best. And one of my earlier posts, because it is one of my favourite books.

Do you have a least favourite book? Are you way too literal about things? Do you like seed beads? Or any type of beads?

    • I’m so, so, so, SO, SO excited! Okay, hahaha, I’ll stop now, really.
YES! Picky eaters unite! Seriously though, sometimes I end up eating a bun for dinner because I don’t like ANYTHING else… ugh, I really need to work on that.

  1. Ooh those beads are AWESOME. I love running my fingers through beads. And that’s actually really awesome you wouldn’t change anything about your life! Also I want to be teleported SO many places. France perhaps….also all the beautiful libraries of the world..*happy sigh* 😂

    • I just want the power of teleportation. I don’t want to only be able to go to one place, if I could choose one super power it would definitely be teleportation.

  2. my least favorite book is PROBABLY The House of Mirth by Edith Wharton. I read it when I was probably way too immature to comprehend what was going on, and I just absolutely loathed it 😐
I don’t think you’re being too literal about the teleporting question. Perhaps this is a product of reading? 😛
Do you do anything specific with seed beads?? I like them because they’re totally pretty and as cait mentioned above me, they have quite a nice tactile feeling!

    • Yes, the beads are so pretty! I make all sorts of things with them, mostly little animals, or I make bracelets on a bead loom.
Perhaps it is a product of reading… I’ve read to many things where they use all the little loopholes…

  3. I love those beads! They are the best kind. That’s so exciting your friend is coming to visit. I hope you guys have fun!
Those would be fun places to teleport. I would probably choose Paris because I miss it so much and would love to go back.
Hey, I was homeschooled too! It’s so fun to find others who were 😀

    • Cool! I always get excited when someone says they’re homeschooled 😀. I’d LOVE to go to Paris, I’ve wanted to go there since I was little… maybe someday.
