Ten Books I Could Reread Again and Again!
Ten Books I Could Reread Again and Again!
Hey everybody!* Today I’m linking up with Top Ten Tuesday, hosted over at That Artsy Reader Girl! I haven’t done a Top Ten Tuesday for ages, because I am incredibly forgetful, and don’t realize it’s Tuesday until I log into my email** on Tuesday, and see all the Top Ten Tuesday posts…
Anyways, this week’s theme is ‘Books I Could Re-read Forever’ and um… I reread a LOT. So this is a great topic for me! Except it probably also isn’t, because I’m going to want to reread all these books… Again.
Also a lot of these are series, not books, because… Well… I have a LOT of books that could go on this list!
*Wow, I really need to come up with another way to start my posts… Lately it’s either been ‘Hey everybody!’ or ‘Hi everybody!’… SO original!
**Um… Thanks spell check I was totally trying to to say ‘until I log anatomy email’… Suuuurrrreee.

1 – Harry Potter
by J.K. Rowling
I feel like this sort of goes without saying. If you’ve been around my blog for a while, you’ve probably picked up on the fact that I love Harry Potter. Although I admit, I’ve actually read this SO many times that I no longer get ANYtHING new out of it, but I still love it, and rereading it still makes me happy.
2 – Anything by Tamora Pierce
Yes, I know, I’m cheating, this isn’t even a series, but if I put in all of her series I’d be out of space. And I love her books. They’re maybe for a slightly younger audience, but I just don’t care. They are so good. The characters are amazing! I love her writing style! I probably know her worlds better than my own. Um… I don’t even think that’s too much of an exaggeration.

3 – The Lunar Chronicles
by Marrisa Meyer
I could read about Cinder and Kai and Iko and Scarlet and Wolf and Cress and Thorne and Winter and Jacin forever. All these characters are so precious, plus the books are hilarious, easy to read, and just SO GOOD!! I love this series So. Much.
4 – Anything in the Shadowhunter World
by Cassandra Clare
Yes, I’m cheating again. But these books are all SO good! The characters are amazing, and I could read these books over and over again. Although all the angst does get to be a bit much over a while, but the beauty of rereading is that you can skim annoying angsty parts if you want to. Except for the fact that these books are to good to do that. But I could if the angst was getting on my nerves too much.

5 – Seraphina
by Rachel Hartman
I really really love this book. The writing is incredibly beautiful, without being difficult to read, the characters are fantastic, and DRAGONS!!
Also the author’s newest book is coming out TODAY, and I’m super excited for it!
6 – Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda & The Upside of Unrequited
by Becky Albertalli
This is a series, okay? I’m totally not just cheating again. These are both fluffy contemporaries, which isn’t usually my thing, but these were both amazing!
- Simon vs. was super cute and super funny, and I love so many things about this book! Plus there was HP appreciation in it, so yay!
- The Upside of Unrequited was’t *quite* as good, but I found Molly super relatable, and I loved her voice.

7 – Eliza and Her Monsters
by Francesca Zappia
I bought this book back in November, and I’ve already read it twice. I love Eliza. And I love Wallace. And I ship them SO hard. Plus there’s some amazing internet appreciation in it, and #Relatable.
8 – The Orphan Queen
by Jodi Meadows
This is the first series on here that I’ve only read once. Because I don’t own it, and my library doesn’t have it, so it might be a while before I reread this series. But I really want to, because IT IS SO GOOD!!!! It was so funny, and SO emotional. I was completely destroyed by the ending, but it was also so perfect!

9 – Strange the Dreamer
by Laini Taylor
I only read this about a month and a half ago, but I’m already planning to reread it before the next book comes out. And the fact is, if I hadn’t had to return it to my friend, I probably would have reread it by now…
10 – Illuminae
by Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff
I read and adored this book back in the fall, and I recently had the sudden urge to reread it… And seeing as my hold on Gemina will probably be in from the library soon… I think it’s time to reread this one!
There’s plenty of other books I would happily reread over and over again, but I think these are the main ones… Honestly I could reread almost anything I rated four or five stars, so basically the majority of the books I read, but these are the ones I’ll likely actually reread in the not to distant future.
AHHH Illuminae is so rereadable! And it always makes me feel accomplished because it’s so huge but I read it so quickly. And I really need to read Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda and Eliza and Her Monsters. I’m just so bad at motivating myself to read contemporaries. I always get distracted by shiny new fantasy books. *hangs head in shame*

Oh my gosh, you totally should read them! Although I tend to be completely the same when it comes to contemporary, so I can’t really blame you 😂

Omg yes and YES! I want to read Illumiane again this year! Except I realised Obsidio is out like…super soon and if I’m going to reread the first two books I need to get cracking on that.😂 Also I want to reread Seraphina so I can read the sequel and also Strange the Dreamer because it was downright gorgeous and I need more of that in my life. 😍 I could basically reread The Raven Cycle every year!!

Oh yeah, hahaha, I sort of didn’t think about Obsidio being out soon… Whatever, I’ll read the first two, and then worry about Obsidio when I can actually get my hands on it 😂
